CATCH-22 Syndrome: Difficult Intubation

Abstract

|
CATCH-22 syndrome is associated with a chromosome 22q11.2 deletion and manifests with variable clinical findings. Difficult intubation due to anatomic abnormality of upper airway can be a serious complication of great concern in this syndrome. In this report, we present a case of 19-year old woman with the CATCH-22 syndrome who was intubated with fiberoptic laryngoscope and discuss anesthetic consideration.
